Ocean Research & Conservation Science

Our marine biologists conduct cutting-edge research across 14 marine protected areas. We map deep-sea ecosystems, track migratory corridors for endangered species, and publish open-access data used by researchers worldwide. Our coral nursery program has restored over 12,000 square meters of reef habitat since 2019.

Policy & Advocacy

We lobby governments to expand marine protected areas, ban single-use plastics, and enforce sustainable fishing quotas. Our policy team has contributed to 23 legislative changes across 9 countries.

Community Mobilization

From coastal cleanups to citizen science programs, we empower local communities to become ocean stewards. Over 85,000 volunteers have participated in our programs across 40+ countries.

Deep-Sea Exploration Initiative

Our newest program deploys autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) to map unexplored deep-sea trenches. In 2024 alone, we discovered 14 previously unknown hydrothermal vent communities teeming with life forms never documented before — species that could hold keys to medical breakthroughs and climate resilience.
