The Atelier

Where steel meets soul

In the quiet valleys of the Jura, where winter frost lingers on the windows of our atelier well into spring, each Solstice movement begins as raw brass and ends as a micro-mechanical universe. Our master watchmakers — most with over thirty years at the bench — work under single-source daylight, assembling movements that will outlast generations.

Every bridge is hand-beveled with a file no wider than a human hair. Every wheel tooth is profiled under magnification to tolerances measured in microns. The anglage alone on a Cal. 5200 requires forty hours — a detail visible only through a loupe, yet essential to the integrity of the whole.

We do not rush. We do not cut corners. Every watch that leaves our atelier has been tested across 480 hours of dynamic simulation — temperature, shock, magnetic fields, pressure — before it earns the right to carry the Solstice name on its dial.

Materials

Elements of endurance

Every material is selected for its ability to endure — to resist scratch, glare, corrosion, and time itself.

Sapphire Crystal
Mohs 9 hardness, multi-layer anti-reflective coating. Virtually scratch-proof domed surface.
316L Steel
Surgical-grade stainless steel, hand-polished and brushed. Hypoallergenic, corrosion-resistant.
High-Tech Ceramic
Sintered zirconium oxide, diamond-polished. Five times harder than steel, retains color permanently.
Grade 5 Titanium
