The Vesara Pavilion
A biomimetic shell structure for the Chennai Art Biennale. Form derived from Fibonacci spirals, clad in recycled ceramic tile.
Architecture Manifesto — Est. 2019
Zephyr Architects designs parametric, sustainable, and biomimetic structures for a world that demands more from its built environment.
Selected Works
Each project emerges from parametric logic, ecological performance, and a deep reading of context — site, climate, culture.
A biomimetic shell structure for the Chennai Art Biennale. Form derived from Fibonacci spirals, clad in recycled ceramic tile.
A 340m² single-family residence on the Norwegian coast. Parametric roof form optimizes for wind load and daylight harvesting.
22-story mixed-use tower in Singapore with an exoskeleton inspired by diatom structures. Net-zero energy target.
Pedestrian bridge spanning the Danube using a tensegrity cable system. 180m span, zero intermediate columns.
Studio Philosophy
We believe every surface should earn its geometry. Our practice starts from first principles — forces, flows, material behavior — and lets the form emerge through algorithmic refinement, not stylistic habit.
Nature has spent 3.8 billion years solving structural problems. We study those solutions — the branching of trees, the tessellation of turtle shells, the ventilation of termite mounds — and translate them into built form through computational design.
Every curve is defined by performance data, not arbitrary aesthetics.
We design for cradle-to-cradle lifecycles, not ribbon-cutting photos.
Nature's solutions are more efficient than any human invention.
The Practice
A multidisciplinary collective of architects, engineers, computational designers, and material scientists.
Commission / Inquire
We work with urban developers, cultural institutions, and forward-thinking clients who believe architecture should perform as beautifully as it looks.
