Founded in 2014, Aperture Gallery occupies a converted industrial warehouse in the heart of the arts district. With 800 square meters of exhibition space across four galleries — each with distinct architectural character — we provide the platform for artists whose work demands space, attention, and context.
Our program is rooted in the belief that contemporary art thrives at the intersection of risk and rigour. We champion practices that challenge material, spatial, and conceptual boundaries, fostering dialogue between local communities and the global art discourse.
"The gallery should disappear. Only the work should remain."
— Maja Lindström, Founding Director
