Questions & Answers
Absolutely not. Every Meridian Sails charter comes with a full professional crew — captain, chef, and deckhands. You're welcome to help hoist sails or take the helm if you'd like, but the only requirement is that you relax.
All charters include the yacht, professional crew, gourmet meals prepared by your private chef, premium beverages, water toys (kayaks, paddleboards, snorkeling gear), fuel, and marina fees. Not included: flights, premium wine/spirits upgrades, and optional onshore excursions.
Completely. Our published itineraries are starting points. Your charter specialist will work with you to build a route around your interests — whether that's archaeology, diving, gastronomy, or simply finding the quietest anchorages. The beauty of sailing is that the plan can change with the wind.
Your captain monitors weather continuously and will adjust the route for comfort and safety. Most routes have sheltered alternatives. In the rare event of a full cancellation, we offer complimentary rebooking or a full refund. Your safety always comes first.
We recommend 3–6 months in advance for peak season (June–September in the Mediterranean, December–March in the Caribbean). For last-minute availability, contact us directly — we occasionally have openings due to repositioning legs between seasons.
