What we do

Six happy zones, one dental home.

From the first tooth to graduation day — each age and need has its own gentle zone, with a doctor who knows your child by name.

Zone 01 · Age 1 happy visit

The very first visit — a happy ride in the chair.

By the first birthday or first tooth, whichever comes first. A gentle lap-to-lap exam, a ride in the chair, a peek with our friendly mirror, and a brand-new toothbrush to take home.

Free for under-2 first visits
Zone 02 · Preventive

Tickle-cleanings & tooth-armor sealants.

Soft rubber-cup cleanings that mostly tickle, kid-flavored paste, and durable sealants painted onto the back teeth to keep cavities from ever starting.

Covered by most plans
Zone 03 · Gentle repair

Silver-diamine & tiny tooth-colored fillings.

When a little spot shows up we can often paint on painless silver-diamine to stop it cold — no drill, no numbing. When a filling's needed, it's tooth-colored and quick.

No-drill options first
Zone 04 · Sensory-friendly

A quiet suite for sensory & anxious kids.

Dim lights, weighted blankets, noise-cancelling headphones, our calm puppet 'tell-show-do' routine, and extra-long 60-minute visits. We never rush a worried child.

Certified sensory-trained team
Zone 05 · Growth guidance

Thumb, tongue & airway growth habits.

Gentle little reminder appliances, tongue-and-lip training, and airway checks that guide the jaw to grow roomy — fewer braces later, healthier sleep now.

Myobrace & growth-trained
Zone 06 · Teen

Clear aligners, braces & sport guards.

Teens can keep growing up with us: clear aligners, color-change braces they pick themselves, and custom sport mouthguards for every team in town.

Heads up, families

What happens here, in plain parent words.

Hello & a knees-to-knees chat.

We greet you by name, take a knees-to-knees knee-hug photo for the wall, and walk you and your child through every step with our 'tell-show-do' puppets. No surprise noises, no rush, parents in the room the whole time. Most kids leave asking when they can come back.

Real notes from real Sunnybrook families — the kind we pin on the team wall.

"My sensory-averse 5-year-old actually asked when his next dentist day is. The headphones, the dim room, the puppet — they just get him."
Helena M.Sunnybrook · mom of two
"Painted silver-diamine on the spot, no crying, no drill. Two years later still no cavity. Total game-changer."
Daniela R.Sunnybrook · mom of 3
"Our teen has stayed with them since age 4. Same doctors, aligners at 14, sport guards for basketball — they really do grow up with you."

For parents

The questions every new family asks us.

No judgement, ever — these are the real things parents whisper to us at the front desk.

By the first birthday or the first tooth — whichever lands first. It's quick, gentle, and free, and it's the best window to set your child's chart, talk bottles and brushing, and let the brain get a happy first memory in the chair.

Yes — this is one of our specialties. We have a sensory-friendly suite with dimmed lights, weighted blankets, noise-cancelling headphones, and extra-long 60-minute visits. Our whole team is sensory-trained, and we practice tell-show-do with puppets so nothing is ever a surprise.

We do. We accept most major PPO plans, Medicaid, and CHIP — and we have an in-house kids' membership for uninsured families that includes cleanings, exams, X-rays, and 20% off everything else, billed monthly with no surprises. Call us and we'll verify your plan in five minutes.

We never force a thing. If we get even one peek, that's a win for the first visit. If not, we play, count teeth with a puppet, hand out a sticker, and book a short happy return. Building trust is the whole job — and most kids come round within two or three visits of their own accord.
