The Art
of Time
Measured

Where centuries of Swiss horological mastery converge with uncompromising elegance. Each timepiece is a testament to the 312 artisanal operations required to bring a single movement to life.

1847 Established

Born in the Vallée de Joux,
shaped by precision

In the cradle of Swiss horology, where harsh winters forged a tradition of meticulous craftsmanship, François Henri Chronos established his first atelier. What began as a pursuit of the perfect escapement evolved into a manufacture revered for its undiminished standards.

A watch is not an instrument that measures time. It is time itself, made visible through the patient hands of those who refuse to compromise.

Six generations later, every CHRONOS timepiece still undergoes 1,200 hours of assembly and adjustment by hand. Our master watchmakers, each with a minimum of fifteen years' experience, ensure that every movement that leaves our atelier carries not just precision, but soul.

Where mechanics becomes art

Every complication represents years of development, hundreds of components, and a singular pursuit of horological perfection.

Made by
human hands,
not machines

In our Geneva atelier, master artisans perform 312 operations by hand to complete a single movement. Each component, no matter how microscopic, is finished to decorative standards that remain invisible to the wearer but essential to the spirit of the piece.

From the hand-bevelled bridges to the perlage on the mainplate, every surface tells a story of patience and conviction. This is not decoration for its own sake — it is the physical manifestation of an uncompromising philosophy.

Dial Finishing in Grand Feu Enamel
I have had the privilege of examining movements from every major manufacture in Switzerland. CHRONOS stands apart — not in complexity for its own sake, but in the absolute consistency of its finishing. Every interior angle, every spoke of every wheel, is finished to a standard most manufactures reserve for exhibition pieces alone.
